Publication and Dissemination Policy
The organizers intend to publish a pre-symposium proceedings volume to document and disseminate the scholarly contributions presented at the symposium with ISBN and to be released on the occasion of the Inauguration Ceremony of ETD-2026. Authors of selected submissions may be invited to submit extended or revised versions of their papers for possible consideration in the NDLTD’s The Journal of Electronic Theses and Dissertations (J-ETD). All such submissions will be subject to the journal’s independent editorial review, peer review process, and compliance with its established policies, ethical standards, and publication requirements. An invitation or submission for consideration shall not be interpreted as a commitment to or guarantee of publication.
By submitting a paper or participating in the symposium, authors grant permission for accepted materials including papers, abstracts, presentations, and related content to be included in symposium publications and disseminated through official symposium channels and platforms used for academic outreach and communication. Where appropriate, and with the author’s consent, these materials may also be archived or made publicly accessible through the NDLTD repositories and associated channels, in accordance with copyright regulations, licensing terms, and applicable repository policies. All submissions, including presentations, posters, and related content, must be made under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License. This approach supports open knowledge dissemination, enhances research visibility, and aligns with the principles of open scholarship and collaborative learning.
The organizers reserve the right to determine the selection, format, timing, and mode of publication or dissemination of symposium materials in accordance with applicable academic, institutional, and publishing guidelines.
