ETD 2026 App — Account & Data Deletion Request
This is the official informational page regarding account management and data deletion requests for the ETD 2026 Mobile Application.
Account Provisioning & Deletion Overview
ETD 2026 participant accounts are provisioned by authorized conference organizers for registered delegates, speakers, and committee members.
Participants who wish to request the deactivation, anonymization, or deletion of their mobile application account and associated personal profile information may do so at any time using one of the methods below.
Method 1: In-App Request (Recommended)
You can initiate an account deletion request directly within the mobile application:
- Open the ETD 2026 App and navigate to the Profile tab.
- Tap Request Account Deletion under Account & Security settings.
- Select the reason for your request (and add any additional comments, if desired).
- Tap Submit Request.
Once submitted, your request is logged for administrative review, and your active session will be signed out.
Method 2: Direct Email Request
If you are unable to access the mobile application, you may submit a request by contacting the organizing team:
Email:
etd2026@admin.iitd.ac.in
Subject: [Account Deletion Request] - ETD 2026 App
Please include your registered email address and full name so that the administration can verify and process your request.
Request Processing & Data Anonymization
Submitted requests undergo administrative verification by the ETD 2026 organizing team. Upon approval by conference administrators:
- Personal account identifiers (such as your full name, profile photograph, phone number, short biography, and research interest tags) will be removed or anonymized within active application databases.
- Authentication credentials and push notification tokens associated with your device will be permanently revoked.
- Your account will be rendered inactive, preventing further access to interactive in-app features.
Data Retention & Institutional Records
In accordance with official conference administration, publishing standards, and IIT Delhi institutional guidelines:
- Conference Records & Attendance: Anonymized transaction records, conference check-in logs, and official event participation entries may be retained for security, audit, attendance verification, and institutional reporting.
- Scholarly Contributions: Published paper abstracts, presentations, proceedings, and official symposium schedules remain part of the public conference archive and are not affected by mobile application account deactivation.
- Security & Audit Logs: System logs and security records may be maintained for operational integrity, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Processing Timeline
In-app and email deletion requests are reviewed by administrators and are typically processed within 48 hours of submission during business days, or might take longer as expected depending on the topic for account deletion. Requesters submitting via email will receive confirmation once the administrative review and account processing are complete.
